Oh Andrew and Jessica… where to begin.

We first saw the love and happiness on the face of Chris’s longtime friend and fraternity brother, Andrew, when we opened his Christmas card a few years ago. There they stood, Andrew and his future wife, Jessica, in matching red flannel pajamas with their cat, Gilbert, and the notorious Duke, Andrew’s loyal canine. At that moment, we were praying she was the one! They looked so perfect together, like a lovely little family. We knew it was a done deal! (Yes, we still have that Christmas card! 😉)

Here we are now in 2020, and our beloved friends have tied the knot!! They selected the most beautiful venue, Silver Oaks Chateau, tucked away in the rolling hills of Pacific, Missouri. Amongst the seemingly endless list of details and character that Silver Oaks Chateau holds, we fell in love with the fireplace that Andrew and Jessica said “I Do” in front of! As if their day wasn’t already amazing enough, they topped it off with international food stations for dinner. This shouldn’t surprise you if you know Andrew and Jessica, because they’re total travel enthusiasts! Their most recent trip to Egypt was one for the books! 🤤✈️🌍🤩

Seriously though, one of our favorite moments of the day was their first look. Early in their wedding planning they asked our opinion on a first look, and we didn’t hesitate to say “YES!” There is such a unique emotion and love that flows during your first look, plus it helps get the jitters out! They were on board immediately! And boy are we glad they did! Just take a gander at those loving, glowing faces!
