Ryan and Kaitlynn met in college at St. Ambrose University through mutual friends, but Kaitlynn claims she saw Ryan first! 😉 Ryan proposed at Kirkwood Park, we captured their engagement session in 2019, and they officially tied the knot last year. They had a small and intimate version of their wedding during Covid-19, with a fun drive-by celebration afterwards at St Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Brentwood, Missouri. Fast forward to 2021 to the full wedding day (vow renewal) that Kaitlyn and Ryan had been dreaming of — it finally arrived! And it was beeeeautifulll! ✨Although their wedding didn’t happen when or how they originally planned to have it, it truly was perfect and nothing short of stunning! Their renewal also took place at St Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Brentwood, Missouri, and then the reception at Rose of the Hill by Favazza’s!

Their special day was filled with lots of laughter, lots of hugs, a few tears here and there, several failed attempts at “popping” champagne bottles, lots of pictures, a “surprise” dance from some of their family members (😂🤭🤐), a fabulous photo-booth, delicious food, and some “his” and “her” favorite snacks. Of course, we can’t forget to mention the biggest surprise of all — Louie (mascot) from the Saint Louis Blues made an appearance at their reception! After his grand entrance he hung around for some dances and photos with a handful of lucky fans! Everyone loved it! Although… We’re starting to wonder if Louie is actually family to Ryan and Kaitlyn, because it wasn’t Louie’s first appearance… 🤔🧐🤨

If you’re just tuning in to their story and missed Kaitlyn and Ryan’s previous blogs (three of them, to be exact 😉), they’re two peas in a pod, completely meant to be, soulmates, teammates, fellow foodies, sports lovers, furry parents, and adventurers. You’ll be laughing in no time in their presence. Oh and heads up, they have this way of making everyone they meet feel like family. 💗

Ryan and Kaitlynn, we are SO grateful to have met you and treasure the friendship we’ve developed. Who would have thought that a phone call with a volleyball game and loud buzzers in the background would lead us here today. We’re excited to see your marriage and relationship grow. Don’t ever stop loving each other, teasing each other, laughing together, and creating memories. Most importantly, never stop giving Biscuit hugs from his favorite photographer friends. 🐾
