When God made you, He must have been thinking about me.

You’ve met Lexy in the blog before—years ago—for her senior pictures! She’s had a busy few years and we’re so happy to see her find the love of her life — Jordan!! They’re adorable together and if you spend more than fifteen seconds with them, you’ll see that these lovebirds are P-E-R-F-E-C-T together!

Lexy and Jordan are huge sports fans, so to kick off their engagement session they wanted to hit up Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village, home of the St. Louis Cardinals. Being the offseason, we could wander and take pictures throughout the area without a bunch of photo-bombs from fans, which was great! Also, if you haven’t been downtown in a while, it might look a bit different than you remember! There’s been a lot of change and this area is poppin’. We’re proud to call St. Louis our home and GO CARDINALS!!!

After a hand full of Cardinals-themed pictures, we headed over to Brookings Hall and Ridley Hall on Washington University‘a campus. Wash U’s architecture is stunning, and when Lexy said she wanted to explore somewhere we’ve always wanted to shoot at (but hadn’t yet), Wash U was one of the first places on my mind. It certainly won’t be our last time shooting there!! After Wash U, we wrapped up during golden hour at Forest Park. The sunset glow along with the beautiful Forest Park landscape was the perfect combination. Plus, we loved the character that Lexy’s hat brought into the photos!

It was so sweet watching these two together. Jordan is such a gentleman and he literally glows with joy when he locks eyes with Lexy. She’s certainly his whole world and we have to say, he’s a lucky guy, because Lexy is quite the catch too! God works in amazing ways, doesn’t He?

Jordan, it was so good to meet you. You’ve already made Lexy one of the happiest girls in the world! Lexy, we can’t wait for your big day. You’re going to be the most beautiful bride and we are looking forward to seeing you build your dream reception venue. Cheers to your future!
