We pulled up to Hidden Lake Winery (Aviston, IL), said a prayer together, and then off we went to start shooting Thomas and Autumn’s wedding day. Just a quick look between each other – we knew it was going to be a great day. We started out with Autumn and her girls in the bridal suite which is located in the large retrofitted home across from the winery. We say home, but really it’s known as “the mansion” and also has a space for a wedding ceremony/reception. 

Shortly after the guys arrived, we grabbed some getting ready photos near the (rentable) cabins and open field. It was go-go-go for a little while, but time seemed to slow down and take a pause when Thomas and Autumn stood around a pillar for their first touch with each other. They didn’t want to see each other, but having that moment together while holding hands was priceless!! (*Insert heart flutters!*) A few minutes went by as they spoke softly with each other, with the occasional giggles and exchanging of smiles. Yes, it was definitely an “Awww!!” type of moment!! 

PS for the Future Couples: never pass a first look/touch! (Or do but don’t blame us if you regret it! 😉😂)

One of our favorite parts of the day was when Autumn elegantly rode into her wedding ceremony on a tan horse. It was pretty much a cowgirl princess scene straight out of a Disney fairytale. Autumn, we don’t know where you come up with these awesome ideas, but we love them and you! A horse on a wedding day definitely takes the cake!!! 🎂 🐴 

After their beautiful ceremony, we worked through family pictures, wedding party pictures, and some couple moments together. Check out the tire swing photos! Super cute idea, right!? Another Autumn idea!! 🥰 Fast forward to the reception….wellllll when we say they couldn’t wait to get the party started, just take our word for it!! Woo!!! 🎉 

Thomas and Autumn, it’s plain and simple, you’re pretty stinkin’ awesome together. We already know that you will go on to live happily ever after. Your wedding day was full of family and friends, love, and laughter that filled the night air. You couldn’t have kicked off a better future together. Keep hugging, keep laughing, and keep creating memories. 💕
