Never give up on something you can’t go a day without thinking about.
Remember when we were young, grade-school aged kiddos and it seemed like forever before Christmas or our birthday would come back around again? Then, one night we all grew up and the years started flying by? The thing we love most about photography is that it allows us to do our version of “freezing” time, reminds us to be still and present, and lets us create memories for years to come. So here we are in 2023, and yet another one of my (Tiffany’s) siblings is now married. WOW! Where does the time go??? It seems like just yesterday Nathan was a little one still in diapers.
Since time is flying so fast, we wanted to take a moment to pause on Nathan and Grace because we all know it’ll be 2045 before we know it. LOL! Reflecting on this summer, Nathan and Grace were married on a hot, sunny day at Grace’s family’s property in Centralia, Illinois. The property was perfect, surrounded by beautiful trees, a pond bordered with some willow trees, tall grasses, and even a newly-renovated barn! There was lots of blood, sweat, stress, tears, and long hours put in by many to pull this venue together for the Bride and Groom… but WOW did it come together beautifully! Not only that, but God blessed everyone with a lovely day and a perfect sunshine-to-cloud ratio — the perfect mix for some excellent photo conditions and an amazing golden hour and sunset! God is good.
As you can imagine, there were many special moments throughout the day, including Grace’s first look with her parents and then a first look with her future husband, Nathan and Grace planting their first tree together during their ceremony, then of course the dancing, laughs, and extra family hugs from family normally separated by many states. You often hear people say that you shouldn’t blink because your wedding day goes by so fast, so we are so glad we could be there to capture and soak up the memories of the day. 💗
Nathan and Grace, we wish you many years of happiness together. We love you both!
